Maryam Sayyedi, Ph.D.
Dr. Sayyedi is a licensed clinical psychologist and an adjunct faculty in the Counseling & Psychology departments at California State University, Fullerton. She obtained her doctorate degree from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington in Clinical Psychology with emphasis on Child Development and Neuropsychology. She has over 20 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations of children and their families. She has over 14 years of teaching experience, authored chapters on multiculturalism, and presented at California Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, and other local conferences. Her area of research has been multiculturalism in psychotherapy and the cross-generational transfer of mental illness.

 

Jessica Leon, LMFT
Jessica Leon is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping adults and adolescents cultivate a more fulfilling life and satisfying relationships. Her primary goal is to help individuals increase their sense of safety, become a better version of themselves, and thrive in their relationships. Therapy can help individuals overcome the difficulties associated with unresolved feelings of grief and anger, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse so they can focus on the things that matter to them the most. Jessica practices from a compassionate and person-centered approach and utilizes diverse interventions to meet the individual’s specific needs toward healing and adopting greater self-acceptance.

 

Janelle Santucci, AMFT, APCC
Janelle Santucci is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #127787 and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #10408; she is supervised by Maryam Sayyedi, Ph.D., PSY #17273. Janelle has a warm, understanding, and direct approach to therapy. She creates a nonjudgmental, compassionate, safe space to empty your pain and better facilitate you in gaining the insight and tools necessary to meet your goals. Janelle believes the relationship between the therapist and the client is the most important as it is the foundation where trust is built which promotes sharing your thoughts and emotions, leading to a path of healing. She works collaboratively with you during the session and tailors her approach based on what will work best for you as she believes therapy is not one size fits all. Janelle has experience working with individuals, families, couples, teenagers, LGBTQ+, and first responders. Her experience as a therapist includes working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, personality and mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, grief, as well as stress management and transitions.
